FernGully is a subtropical rainforest in eastern Australia, and is implied to be one of the last in the country, and quite possibly the world.

FernGully is full of beauty with fairies and different kinds of trees and plants, along with different species of animals also living there, such as birds, monkeys, lizards, bats, mice, rodents, and all sorts of other animals.

Fairies[]
The fairies that live in FernGully help every plant there grown, but they have to work together to make the plants grow. It is only the Sprite of the forest that has the magic to grow plants by their self. Magi was the former Sprite before she died and Crysta has taken her place.
Trivia[]
- Fern Gully's proximity to Mount Warning, a real mountain in eastern Australia, may mean it's influenced by the Gondwana Rainforests. Much like the movie, Gondwana was significantly deforested for lumber through history. Only 1% of its original range remains and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
